We are very privileged that Christy and Dale Prophet will be moving to their new cabin at the Wilderness Club this summer. Christy is a certified riding instructor in Western style and can also teach English, is a certified PATH practitioner, and will be bringing along her 10 beloved horses. Christy will have our equestrian center up and running in mid April and there will be lots of equestrian options this year and ongoing! These will include US Forest Service rides, equine yoga, kids camps, horse drawn sleigh rides, sunset rides to the lake, special events, riding lessons for groups and private, and Christy is applying to have the Wilderness Club be a participant and host for one of the NW skijoring races next winter! The World Championship event was held in Whitefish this year.

Christy brings a lifetime of experience, a vast knowledge base, infectious enthusiasm, and a real love for horses that truly sets her apart, and she is well known and respected throughout the Flat Head Valley! In consultation with Christy we have also drawn up plans for an expanded and improved equestrian center some of which will be completed this May.

“Played the Wilderness Club for my second time and was just as impressed as the first time. Beautifully maintained course just outside of Eureka, Montana. Nick Faldo design. Lovely setting with big ponderosa pines and fir trees. Several ponds and just a very peaceful setting.”
